The Mother, Jugs, and Speed 2WD Pulling Van Was Kind Of Awesome – Flip Top Body and Wheelies

Many of you out there remember the 1976 cult classic film Mother, Jugs, and Speed. With names like Raquel Welch, Bill Cosby, Larry Hagman, and others, it was packed with some star power for sure. Based at an ambulance company, the comedy featured Cosby in the lead as “Mother” Tucker, the best ambulance driver at one of the warring companies. His Chevrolet van based ambulance was all kinds of tricked out with lights, custom paint, and more.

In the time honored tradition of motorsports guys latching onto something with even the lightest bit of cultural relevance we have the Mother, Jugs, and Speed pulling van to show you below. The van is was cooler than the movie with a supercharged big block engine, flip top body and a full raft of functioning emergency lights, this thing was a show stopper.

You will see it hooked and pulling below. The huge nose-up launches rules the school!

Army trucks, we love them. Why? Well for the same reason we love functional hot rods that are lacking in amenities but are heavy in ass kicking ability.
