It seems like every single problem-solver product at the parts store has some group of folks who say they will ruin stuff, don’t work, etc. And yet they sell jillions of bottles of this stuff each year. So when Project Farm decided they were going to test stop leak products, I was interested in finding out just how that was going to happen. These products claim to help stop leaks by conditioning seals and gaskets. They do this by making them swell up since they shrink over time. But do they do any damage? Can they really help your car out?
