Newbern Almost Lost The Engine In His 1957 Chevy And Daily Drive Tahoe To The Cold! Watch And Learn!

It’s COLD almost everywhere in the United States right now and I hope all of you have checked your antifreeze levels to make sure your coolant is good and that you aren’t going to risk cracking a block or what have you due to the freezing temps. Newbern has all the Faster with Finnegan rides at his house and had to check on all of them, but it was his most driven cars that were actually the ones he should have been worried about! Watch his video and learn. The cold is going to be here for a few more days!

I spend a couple of hours and check every car on the property for antifreeze levels. I store most of the Faster with Finnegan cars and have no clue if they are able to survive cold temps. I was very surprised at what I found and feel like a total idiot. Check your antifreeze people.

Helmet Sale: Simpson And Racequip Are On Sale Now! Quit Using A Crap Helmet.

I just got back from Holley’s LSFest West in Las Vegas and the number of people who are racing, or trying to race, wearing crappy helmets, or those that are NOT designed to be used in a car or truck, still blows me away. It gets better all the time, but even so, we need more people to do the right thing for themselves and buy a good helmet. I remember when I got my first helmet that was actually bought for me to use while racing cars. It was awesome. It fit better than anything I’d ever borrowed, and it was mine. I loved it. I have had several helmets since, but regardless of my budget, I’ve always bought a helmet that is specifically made for racing cars and is certified for doing so.
