One thing that sucks about modern EFI engines like the LS, LT, Mod Motors, And HEMIs is that aftermarket intake manifolds for them tend to be really expensive. It’s understandable as there is a lot of technology going on in there and the manufacturing is way different than the typical cast aluminum intake manifold. Some of these intakes cost around $600 but some are closer to $1,500. The question is whether or not they are worth it. In truth, we know they work, and work well, but whether it is worth the money or not is going to be up to you. Army trucks, we love them. Why? Well for the same reason we love functional hot rods that are lacking in amenities but are heavy in ass kicking ability.
