We’re all about safety around here, and I’m a HUGE fan of head restraint systems like the NecksGen, HANS, and Simpson’s Hybrid system, just to name a few. It doesn’t matter which system you choose, it just matters that you pick one and use it so that you can be as safe as possible in a race car. I know several drivers that use the Simpson Hybrid Frontal Head Restraint, and they love them, but choosing any head and neck restraint system requires proper sizing to be as effective as possible. Army trucks, we love them. Why? Well for the same reason we love functional hot rods that are lacking in amenities but are heavy in ass kicking ability.
