The Hot Rod Hoarder Visits The Tri Five Nationals 2022 – Old School EVERYTHING!

Tommy Lee Byrd is showing off all the cool stuff he found at the Tri Five Nationals in Bowling Green Kentucky this year! And man did he find some cool stuff. Besides the normal selection of killer cars, there are lots of parts, lots of special cars, and more tri five action than you can shake a stick at. Watch Tommy’s latest video and you’ll see what we’re talking about. This is some cool stuff.

Video Description:

When I go to an event like the Tri Five Nationals, I wear many hats. I photograph the event for a magazine…in this case, Modern Rodding. In addition to the print magazine coverage, I provided social media content for Modern Rodding, All Chevy Performance and Classic Truck Performance magazines. I also post social media content on Coker Tire’s Instagram and Facebook page. I did a total of six photo shoots for various publications. Yet somehow, I still find time to enjoy myself, so in this video, I wanted to show some of the stuff I liked during a day of walking the property at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Helmet Sale: Simpson And Racequip Are On Sale Now! Quit Using A Crap Helmet.

I just got back from Holley’s LSFest West in Las Vegas and the number of people who are racing, or trying to race, wearing crappy helmets, or those that are NOT designed to be used in a car or truck, still blows me away. It gets better all the time, but even so, we need more people to do the right thing for themselves and buy a good helmet. I remember when I got my first helmet that was actually bought for me to use while racing cars. It was awesome. It fit better than anything I’d ever borrowed, and it was mine. I loved it. I have had several helmets since, but regardless of my budget, I’ve always bought a helmet that is specifically made for racing cars and is certified for doing so.
