Engine Building Zen: This ASMR Video Of A Hot Rodded Subaru Engine Being Built Is The Gearhead Equivalent Of A Nature Film

This could be the most relaxing and cool engine build video we have seen in a long, long time. Why? There is no music, there is no talking, there is only the sounds of the work being done. Personally, there is something really satisfying about working on something either in the shop or on a little workbench in the quiet that I love. When I am wrenching on the tractor and it is just me, my garage, and the sounds of the work I am completing, I am at my most relaxed.

In this case we watch a Subaru four banger get assembled with all kinds of nice parts. There are Manley pistons and rods most notably but as you will watch, the build is done with skill and care with just the noise of ratchets clicking, wrenches being fitted onto nuts and bolts, and the occasional hammer tap.

Army trucks, we love them. Why? Well for the same reason we love functional hot rods that are lacking in amenities but are heavy in ass kicking ability.
