Best Bit Holder? Milwaukee vs DeWalt, Makita, Hilti, Irwin, Ryobi, Bosch, Neiko, Wera, Wiha

Bit holders suck!!! Or at least they do if you really put them through their paces. I’ve tried a bunch of different brands and can tell you that the bits themselves and the holders for them, can vary wildly on quality and durability. I have my own favorites, but I saw this cool test from Project Farm and decided we should see what they found!

Bit Holder Brands Tested: Wiha, Wera, Milwaukee, Crescent Vortex, Norske, DeWalt, Neiko, Hilti, Irwin, Makita Gold, Bosch, Ryobi, Makita ImpactX, Yakamoz, Tomoto Palace, Horusdy. Bit holders compared for maximum torque before failure, magnetic bit retention holding strength, magnetic hold on fasteners, speed of driving in fasteners, and wear resistance. Helmet Sale: Simpson And Racequip Are On Sale Now! Quit Using A Crap Helmet.

I just got back from Holley’s LSFest West in Las Vegas and the number of people who are racing, or trying to race, wearing crappy helmets, or those that are NOT designed to be used in a car or truck, still blows me away. It gets better all the time, but even so, we need more people to do the right thing for themselves and buy a good helmet. I remember when I got my first helmet that was actually bought for me to use while racing cars. It was awesome. It fit better than anything I’d ever borrowed, and it was mine. I loved it.
